A Good Time to Deworm

If you use chemical dewormers on your goats, the best time to do it is the day after a hard frost. Many of the eggs previously shed by the goats will be killed by a hard freeze, so the chances of re-infestation are greatly decreased, giving you the most bang for your buck.
Just remember to use dewormers that are safe for pregnant goats if you have already bred your girls!
