Ohio Sanctioned Kinder Goat Shows

The KGBA sanctioned Kinder Goat shows being held in Ohio are in less than a month! Whether you are able to bring goats or not, please try to join us for this great event. Shows will be held on Saturday and Sunday, and will be judged by two different judges - one NPGA judge and one ADGA judge. This is a great opportunity to have your goats assessed, meet other Kinder goat owners, relax and have a great time!

Show bill and entry forms can be found on the kGBA website at http://kindergoatbreeders.com/shows.html

Good luck to all participating goats and exhibitors!!

Tattoos

Effective immediately, tattoos are required on all registration applications / registered Kinder goats. Below are some of the reasons that we require tattoos:

  • Tattoos are an easy and reliable way to identify your Kinder goats.
  • Correct identification ensures that correct information accompanies goats being sold, purchased, shown and transported.
  • Tattoos help avoid questions of ownership and mistaken identity between similarly marked goats.
  • Tattoos, accompanied by official KGBA registrations are currently being accepted by most states as permanent identification sufficient for interstate travel.
Microchipping your Kinders? We do accept microchips IN ADDITION to tattoos, but not in place of them. Because they don't require special equipment to read, tattoos are still the easiest, most cost effective way for us to identify any particular Kinder goat.

We, as a breed association, are always striving to make things as easy as possible for our members and our goats. We welcome questions and comments - please join our chat group at www.facebook.com/groups/kinderfolks or email a board member to discuss any questions or concerns.
